President's Message
Welcome to the JCCRA Website. We hope that you will frequent this website to keep up-to-the-minute with what we’re going to be doing all year long.
JCCRA plans and participates in many events for our community such as our annual Judicial Appreciation Luncheon in the fall honoring our Judges; bailiff and court staff appreciation luncheons; the CASA/CPS Christmas Angels; donations to Meals-On-Wheels, Harvest House and Operation Blessing annual food drives, just to name a few. The funding for these projects comes from various fundraisers held throughout the year. A couple of new projects for JCCRA this year is the Veterans History Project, which is a joint effort of the Texas Court Reporters Association and the Library of Congress; and the Support Our Soldiers (SOS), which is a community-based project to aid and encourage our military heroes through letters of support and much needed supplies.

JCCRA COOKBOOK PROJECT IS UNDERWAY
You can be a part of our cookbook by submitting one or more recipes. There will be many categories, so feel free to submit your favorites. You can submit these on the Forum Recipe Topic or email them to any of the officers. March 30th is the deadline.
JCCRA CONTRIBUTES TO THE SUPPORT OUR SOLDIERS
Drop off a handwritten letter to a soldier at any of the official reporters' offices. For more details, go the Forum SOS.

- Invite your friends and co-workers to come join us here at JCCRA. Be sure to download the Member's 2012 Application on the Membership tab. In order to use the Forum, Blog and eShop, you will need to go to the Logon tab and register.
- Take your time looking around. A lot has changed, been added and improved.
- The Off The Record tab is the most current version of "Off The Record" newsletter. To read back issuses, click on the Archive tab.
- Now on to the Forum tab. Here you can add topics, reply to and comment on other topics. Just remember that most topics should be court reporting related but some humor is okay also.
- Blog tab is basically a running journal where you can share your thoughts and ideas.
- eShop is where you can place an order for JCCRA merchandise and/or pay your dues.
- Photo Gallery includes catagories of pictures of events JCCRA has participated in throughout the years (some are funny; some are exhausting). You'll have to check it out to see which is which.
- Favorite Links has some of JCCRA's favorite websites, but if you have others, please let us know
